This biennial conference is organized by the Oxford Internet Institute (University of Oxford) for the Journal Policy and Internet, in collaboration with the European Consortium of Political Research (ECPR) standing group on Internet and Politics.
The Internet, Politics, Policy workshop takes place every other year, and brings together academics leading research in the emerging field of computational social science, and explores how big data is transforming academic practice and policy making.The availability of big datasets is revolutionising the way social scientists conduct research and challenging traditional disciplinary boundaries between social sciences, and physical and life sciences.
IPP2014 took place on September 25-26, 2014, at the Oxford Internet Institute, University of Oxford, 1 St Giles Oxford OX1 3JS (map), the new date for 2016 is TBA.
