Manuscript Submission Guidelines

Manuscripts should be submitted to  All manuscripts  will undergo editorial screening and peer review. Submissions cannot have been previously published or be under consideration for publication elsewhere. A statement transferring copyright from the authors to the Journal of Intelligence Studies is required before publication.
Manuscripts should not exceed 9,000 words, including appendices and references and must be in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx). They must be formatted in a 12-point font and double-spaced, include the manuscript title, and contain no author identifying information.
All manuscripts must include an abstract containing a maximum of 250 words.
Following the abstract the manuscript must include up to five key words.
Authors must also provide a cover letter indicating how their article fits in with the aims and scope of the journal.
All manuscripts must include a separate cover sheet that contains the title of the manuscript and all author names and affiliations with separate contact information (address, email, phone number). The cover-sheet should clearly identify one corresponding author. 
All submissions, citations, notes, references, tables, figures and charts must follow the Chicago Manual of Style, author-date (parenthetical) (16th edition). Manuscripts not in proper format will be returned for correction. Authors are requested to pay particular attention to making citations in notes and references complete and accurate.
