CRISIS & RISK IN PUBLIC POLICY

Crsisis and risk are our daily companions in these times. This much needed new journal from Berkeley Electronic Press, edited by Hank Jenkins-Smith of the University of Oklahoma and Warren Eller of Louisiana State University, will cover among other issues crisis prediction, preparation, mitigation, response and recovery. It will probe questions of physical, economic, health and environmental security. CRIPP creates a conversation in an area which sorely needs scholarship and research. The problems are well known; it is time there were some solutions. For further information, Professor Jenkins-Smith can be contacted at hjsmith@ou.edu and Professor Eller at weller@lsu.edu
