Members of PSO have been able to use the offices in Washington as a base for their visits, and many PSO members have participated in PSO panels and receptions at meetings of the American Political Science Association, Midwest Political Science Association, Southern Political Science Association, and the American Association for the Advancement of Science.

Members also have had the satisfaction of knowing that they are helping build the PSO endowments with APSA, SPSA and MPSA that bring students and scholars to the annual meetings of those organizations.
