Introduction The Policy Studies Organization, in cooperation with the Clarewood Institute, announces the establishment of the Center for Asian Politics and Policy (CAPP), which administers an important new policy journal, tentatively titled Asian Politics & Policy (APP). The Center for Asian Politics and Policy (CAPP) endeavors to promote the APP Journal through partnerships with Asian universities in concert with PSO and Clarewood. The center focuses on cultivating scholarly exchange through partnership development of the APP Journal. Click for more information about the journal and subscription.
The new journal of Asian Politics & Policy (APP) established editing offices in Beijing, China and in Washington, D.C.. The new journal will have articles of major importance to everyone who wants in depth coverage of the important policy issues arising from the rapid growth of the region. Additionally, the new journal will include book, website and blog reviews.
In addition to research articles, Asian Politics & Policy will provide book, website and blog reviews. Asian Politics & Policy is internationally oriented, with its editorial board members from prestigious universities and research institutions in China, Japan, South Korea, ASEAN nations, India, Australia, Russia, France, the United Kingdom, and the United States. The journal has its editorial offices located in China and the United States. By so doing, it hopes to better stimulate academic dialogue between scholars in Asia and the rest of the world.
The Center for Asian Politics and Policy (CAPP) is currently working with Asian universities, including ShanghaiJiaotongUniversity, to develop operatives and interested parties for joint programs. CAPP hopes that locating the editorial offices in Asia will help stimulate dialogue between scholars in Asia and the rest of the world, and impart a special cache to the periodical. The editorial board will also reflect the Asian location.
